Librarian: Junior School ( Uptill class 5)
The school librarian plays a crucial role in promoting literacy and fostering a love of reading among students. They are responsible for managing the school library, selecting and organizing books, and assisting students and teachers in finding resources for research and learning.
The librarian is also responsible for teaching students how to effectively use library resources, including online databases and research tools. They may also collaborate with teachers to develop curriculum-related reading lists and activities.
In addition to managing the library collection, the librarian is responsible for maintaining the library space, ensuring it is organized and welcoming to students. They may also be responsible for overseeing library programs and events, such as book fairs or author visits.
