Responsibilities-
As a Life Skills Trainer in schools, your role is pivotal in equipping students with essential life skills to navigate challenges and succeed in various aspects of their lives. Here are some key roles and responsibilities for a job post as a Life Skills Trainer in schools:
• Facilitate Life Skills Development: Design and deliver engaging lessons and activities that focus on developing crucial life skills such as decision-making, problem-solving, communication, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal relationships.
• Individualized Support: Provide personalized guidance and support to students, tailoring interventions to meet their unique needs, strengths, and challenges in developing life skills.
• Promote Positive Behavior: Establish and reinforce positive behavior patterns, social skills, and conflict resolution strategies among students to foster a respectful and inclusive school environment.
• Monitor Progress: Regularly assess and track students' progress in acquiring and applying life skills, providing feedback, and adjusting interventions to support their growth effectively.
• Crisis Intervention: Be prepared to provide emotional support, guidance, and crisis intervention for students facing personal challenges or emotional distress, fostering resilience and well-being.
• Parent and Community Engagement: Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and community resources to reinforce life skills training outside the school setting, promoting continuity and reinforcement of skills learned.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of student participation, progress, and outcomes in life skills training programs, ensuring data-driven decision-making and program evaluation.
• Professional Development: Stay updated on best practices in life skills training, attend relevant workshops or training sessions, and continuously enhance your skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality training to students.
Qualifications
We are seeking passionate and dynamic individuals, both freshers and experienced, to join our team as Life Skills Trainers. The ideal candidate will specialize in English language education, Fine arts, Theatre, Dance, and Data Analysis. A background in education, social science, and English language is preferred. The role requires a genuine love for working with children and a commitment to system transformation.
