We are looking for an experienced Lower Secondary English Language Special Educator to join our NIOS School. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialized instruction to students with learning disabilities in the English language.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with learning disabilities.
- Provide instruction in the English language to students with learning disabilities.
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs.
- Provide guidance and support to students with learning disabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Participate in professional development activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching license.
- At least two years of experience teaching students with learning disabilities.
- Knowledge of IEPs and special education laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
