About The Role

You will be the first point of contact regarding loan processing with our Assistant Managers, Financial Advisors, Students and Lenders. Your focus will be to own and manage the whole team along with the disbursement process, communicate and partner with all business units to implement processes, and successfully manage our loan journey starting from document verification till disbursement.

What will you do

• Lead a team of Assistant Managers, Loan Counsellors/Financial Advisors to connect with the students for counselling on education loans and convince them to take education loan services from us.
• Meet daily and monthly targets with the help of the team members.
• Managing the end-to-end loan processing and disbursement of loan for overseas education.
• Building effective relationships by proactively connecting with lenders to help them process and troubleshoot loan disbursements.
• Managing communication with the students to resolve their loan processing and disbursement related queries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Auditing loan data periodically to ensure data integrity.
• Proactively identifying and troubleshooting technical gaps in loan processing by tracking and analysing loan data.
• Continuous feedback and training of the team.
• Manage PnL of the team.

What will you need

• Bachelor's degree with 5-6 years of working experience in direct sales.
• 2-3 years of managerial experience.
• Passion for customer service and relationship management with an innate sense of service and empathy for others.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and comfortable interacting with financial advisors, students and partners via multiple communication channels.
• Understanding of banking, lending, financial services with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, excellent at documentation.
• Proven ability to apply critical thinking to complicated problems for timely and effective resolution.
• Passion for excellence: constantly striving to improve professional skills and business operations.
• Should be well versed with Excel.
