Must Have Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources with an experience of 8-10 years is a must.

For Graduates in HR:

  • Industry Experience: At least 10 years of experience in IT, IT Consulting, Edtech, or related industries.
  • Role Experience: Within this experience, a minimum of 4 years in Talent Acquisition, 3 years in HR Operations, and 3 years in HR Management.

For Masters in HR:

  • Industry Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, IT Consulting, Edtech, or related industries.
  • Role Experience: Out of this, at least 3 years should be in Talent Acquisition, 3 years in HR Operations, and 2 years in HR Management.

Candidates should have a strong foundation in human resources, with specific expertise in talent acquisition, HR operations, and management, with a result-driven strategy executional experience, tailored to the requirements of the IT and Edtech sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Workforce Planning and Forecasting:

  • Develop and implement workforce planning strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Analyze business plans, market trends, and workforce data to forecast staffing needs across departments.
  • Collaborate with department heads for effective staffing plans, identifying gaps and proposing solutions.
  • Manage talent acquisition strategies, including succession planning for future roles.
  • Oversee workforce analytics to track key metrics and inform strategic decisions.

HR Operations Management:

  • Direct daily HR operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures for legal compliance and alignment with company goals.
  • Manage HR systems to streamline recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Address employee relations, including conflict resolution and policy enforcement.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits administration, including payroll and benefits programs.

Performance Management:

  • Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and career development.
  • Work with managers to monitor employee progress and address performance issues.

Employee Engagement and Relations:

  • Foster a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives.
  • Address employee grievances and manage conflict resolution.
  • Develop strategies to improve employee retention and satisfaction.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and organize development programs to enhance employee skills.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training and development initiatives.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilize HR analytics to provide insights on workforce data and inform decision-making.
  • Prepare and present reports on HR metrics like turnover, retention, and skill gaps, and other reports as required by the management.

Budget Management:

  • Manage the HR budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
  • Monitor expenses related to workforce activities and HR operations.

Strategic HR Initiatives:

  • Participate in strategic HR planning and initiatives to support organizational growth.
  • Implement best practices in HR management.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Oversee the professional development of team members.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure HR services meet organizational needs.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure HR practices comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to optimize strategies and improve processes.

Adhoc Responsibilities:

  • In addition to the core duties, you will also be responsible for handling ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed. This may include spearheading special initiatives, participating in cross-departmental collaborations, or taking on additional responsibilities that support the evolving needs of the organization.

Skillset:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of HR principles and practices.
  • Experience with workforce planning, operations and talent management.
  • Proficiency in HR data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Project management and leadership skills.
