Role and Responsibilities: As a Manager of Business Development & Institutional Sales, You will play a crucial role in driving the growth of MapMyStudy’s new business vertical. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Institutional Sales: Developing and implementing strategies to promote our services to educational institutions including colleges, universities and High Schools.
- Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide customized solutions
- Market Research: Conducting market research to identify potential opportunities for business expansion and staying updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Business Planning: Creating and executing business plans to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
- Sales and Marketing Collateral: Developing compelling sales presentations, marketing materials, and proposals to showcase our services and offerings effectively.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to meet with clients, attend conferences, and represent MapMyStudy at industry events.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Any Bachelor’s degree or a related field.
- Proven experience in institutional sales, preferably in the education industry.
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in Business Development or Sales.
- Professional Links and relationships with education Institutes, High Schools and Colleges will be advantageous
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and ability to apply them effectively to drive business growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and build rapport.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet targets.
- Openness to travel as required for client meetings and business-related events.
- A passion for the international education industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
