We are seeking a passionate and experienced Music Teacher to join our prestigious CBSE school located in Shillong, Meghalaya. The ideal candidate should be a resident of Shillong and possess proficiency in playing the piano.

Responsibilities

• Music Instruction: Deliver engaging and comprehensive music lessons to students, fostering their love for music and promoting a deep understanding of musical concepts.
• Piano Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in playing the piano, incorporating it into teaching methodologies to enhance students' practical understanding and appreciation of music.
• Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development of the school's music curriculum, ensuring alignment with CBSE standards and promoting a well-rounded music education.
• Ensemble Coordination: Facilitate and guide student musical ensembles, fostering teamwork and providing opportunities for students to showcase their talents through performances.
• Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess students' musical abilities, provide constructive feedback, and create a supportive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
• Participation in School Events: Actively participate in school events, including musical performances, competitions, and cultural programs, contributing to the vibrant school community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field.
• Proficiency in playing the piano.
