Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Content Manager to oversee content creation, assessment development, volunteer engagement activities, training initiatives, and content review processes for grade 06 to 10 for our digital education platform (ODiSI). The Content Manager will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and curating educational resources while fostering collaboration with school teachers and volunteers to enhance the effectiveness of our digital platform. Ideally, you are an experienced school teacher, and worked with children in the grades 6 to 10, covering topics including English, Mathematics or Sciences. Also, you are an effective communicator, teacher trainer and experienced in using technology for delivery of education (AV content, conducting online quiz, hybrid methods of learning).
Responsibilities
· Lead the development of comprehensive educational content, including lesson plans, interactive activities, multimedia resources, and instructional materials, for science, mathematics, and English subjects using ODiSI standards and capabilities.
· Design and create formative and summative assessments aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives to measure student progress and proficiency.
· Analyse student performance data to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to enhance learning progress and outcomes across grade levels.
· Develop content-based activities to engage volunteers from different domain.
· Provide training and support to volunteers and school teachers on utilizing digital resources, implementing best practices, and leveraging data-driven insights to improve instruction and student learning outcomes.
· Conduct thorough reviews and evaluations of content and assessments to ensure accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness in supporting student learning.
· Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate content development initiatives and ensure timely delivery of high-quality educational resources.
· Understand new technology tools like AI, ChatGPT and develop effective content delivery mechanisms and learning outcomes through such tools.
Qualifications
[· Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed), Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
· 5+ years of experience in educational content development, assessment design, curriculum alignment, or a related role.
· Strong subject matter expertise in science, mathematics, and English.
· Proficiency in assessment development methodologies and tools.
· Experience with data analysis and interpretation to drive instructional decision-making.
· Knowledge of digital learning platforms, educational technologies, and multimedia resources.
· Excellent communication, collaboration, ablity to work with teacher, students aand project management skills.
· Creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently, ability to work with school teachers, students and other project manager collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
