Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced PGT Chemistry Teacher to join our esteemed CBSE school. As a PGT Chemistry Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students and fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the CBSE curriculum and cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Deliver effective and interactive classroom instruction using a variety of teaching methods.
  • Utilize technology and innovative teaching techniques to enhance student learning and engagement.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance through regular assignments, tests, and examinations.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on their progress and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance.
  • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, discipline, and a love for learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs.
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and subject knowledge.
  • Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Valid teaching certification or license.
  • Prior experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level, preferably in a CBSE school.
  • Excellent knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for teaching and ability to inspire students.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Proficient in using technology for instructional purposes.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of students and the school.
