PGT English Teacher for Chhattisgarh Board School (Job Vacancy)

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate PGT English Teacher to join our team at a Chhattisgarh Board School. As a PGT English Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English to students in till grade 8, helping them develop their language skills and fostering a love for literature.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that follow the curriculum guidelines set by the Chhattisgarh Board.
• Teach students till grade 8, focusing on improving their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Utilize various teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
• Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on their performance and areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' attendance, grades, and academic progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and materials.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain discipline and create a conducive learning environment.
• A bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
• Proven experience in teaching English to high school students.
• Sound knowledge of the Chhattisgarh Board curriculum and assessment methods.
• Passion for literature and the ability to inspire students to appreciate and analyze literary works.

• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
