We are looking for an experienced and passionate PGT English Teacher to join our team at Karnataka Board School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students in grades 9-12.
Responsibilities: - Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the curriculum standards of the Karnataka Board.
- Instruct students in the English language, including grammar, composition, reading, and literature.
- Evaluate student performance and progress to ensure they are meeting learning objectives.
- Provide feedback to students on their performance and progress.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of student progress and development.
- Participate in faculty and professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops.
- Perform administrative duties such as attending staff meetings and completing required paperwork.
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in English or related field.
- PGT certification from the Karnataka Board.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
