Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced PGT Physics Teacher to join our esteemed CBSE school. As a Physics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in grades 9-12, fostering their interest and understanding of physics concepts, and preparing them for CBSE examinations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the CBSE curriculum and cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Deliver effective and interactive classroom instruction, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and resources.
  • Facilitate student learning by providing clear explanations, examples, and demonstrations of physics principles.
  • Encourage student participation and critical thinking through class discussions, experiments, and hands-on activities.
  • Assess student progress regularly through assignments, tests, and examinations, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the physics curriculum, ensuring its alignment with CBSE guidelines.
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and advancements in the field of physics.
  • Supervise and support students during laboratory experiments, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, discipline, and a love for learning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Valid teaching certification or license.
  • Prior experience teaching Physics at the secondary level, preferably in a CBSE school.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of physics concepts, theories, and applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics and engage students in the learning process.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
