About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Manager to join our team and play a key role in amplifying the Taxila Business School brand on social media platforms. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, student engagement, and drive program applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a data-driven social media strategy aligned with TBS's overall marketing goals and objectives.
- Manage and grow TBS's presence across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter).
- Create engaging and informative social media content (text, images, videos) showcasing TBS's programs, faculty, student life, and achievements.
- Utilize ATL (Above-the-Line) and BTL (Below-the-Line) marketing principles to inform your social media strategy.
- Leverage digital marketing techniques like SEO (Search Engine Optimization), SEM (Search Engine Marketing), and CPC (Cost-per-Click) advertising to optimize social media campaigns.
- Develop and manage programmatic campaigns to target specific demographics and interests.
- Conduct social media listening and analytics to measure campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Craft compelling creative briefs for social media content creation.
- Manage influencer marketing campaigns to reach a wider audience and build brand credibility.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with the marketing and admissions teams to ensure a cohesive brand message across all channels.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in social media marketing.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful social media campaigns.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter) and their algorithms.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts like SEO, SEM, CPC, and programmatic advertising.
- Excellent content creation skills (writing, editing, graphic design).
- Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Passion for education and a strong understanding of the higher education landscape (a plus).
