Phonics Teacher (Job Vacancy)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Online Phonics Teacher to join our team. As an Online Phonics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality phonics instruction to students in an online learning environment. Your primary goal will be to help students develop strong phonemic awareness, decoding skills, and fluency in reading.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct online phonics lessons following a structured curriculum.
• Utilize interactive teaching tools and resources to engage students during lessons.
• Assess students' phonics skills and provide constructive feedback on their progress.
• Develop individualized learning plans to address the specific needs of each student.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment to enhance student motivation and engagement.
• Communicate effectively with students and their parents/guardians to provide updates on progress and address any concerns.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to share best practices and improve instructional strategies.
• Stay updated with current trends and research in phonics instruction and implement effective teaching techniques.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and assessment results.
• Attend regular staff meetings and professional development sessions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field (a teaching certification is a plus).
• Proven experience in teaching phonics to students, preferably in an online setting.
• Strong knowledge of phonics instructional methods and techniques.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students of varying ages and abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple students and tasks simultaneously.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable working environment for online teaching.
• Flexibility to work during the specified hours (Monday to Saturday, 3 pm to 9 pm).
