Job Description: Bloomingdale International School is looking for an enthusiastic and qualified MYP/DP Physics Teacher to enhance our science department. This role involves: • Designing and implementing a comprehensive physics curriculum that aligns with the MYP and DP standards. • Leading hands-on experiments and practical activities to deepen students' understanding of physics. • Evaluating student progress through exams, projects, and lab reports, providing constructive feedback to foster academic and critical thinking skills. • Collaborating with colleagues across disciplines to promote an integrated approach and inquiry-based learning. • Engaging in ongoing professional development to ensure the application of current educational trends and best practices in the classroom. • Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). • Valid teaching certification/license, with experience in teaching MYP and/or DP Physics. • In-depth knowledge of the MYP and DP frameworks, particularly assessment methods and teaching approaches. • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. • A passion for teaching and motivating students to explore the principles of physics.
