Job Profile: As the Placement Director, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between academia and industry by facilitating internships and placements for our students. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Coordinating between industry partners and the university to secure internships and placements for students.
2. Overseeing day-to-day placement activities, including career advertisements, resume writing workshops, application completion assistance, and interview preparation.
3. Representing the university professionally in client relationships to enhance our image.
4. Organizing company visits and corporate talks to provide students with exposure to industry practices.
5. Analyzing students' skill gaps and conducting activities to bridge them, ensuring their readiness for placements and career opportunities.

Essential Qualifications:

• B.Tech + MBA from a recognized University.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in a recognized University or Institute.
• Preference will be given to candidates with industry experience.

Roles & Responsibilities: In addition to the mentioned responsibilities, your role as the Placement Director will also include:

• Developing and maintaining relationships with corporate houses and recruitment professionals to understand talent needs and create placement opportunities.
• Providing guidance and support to students in career development, including advising on industry trends and assisting with goal setting.
• Maintaining accurate records of internship and job opportunities and generating reports to assess effectiveness.
• Collaborating with faculty, administrators, and industry experts to enhance internship and job placement programs.
• Engaging with alumni to leverage professional networks and support job placement efforts.
• Ensuring compliance with legal and accreditation requirements and promoting equal opportunity and non-discrimination policies.
• Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in career services and placement.
