Placement Operations Manager (Job Vacancy)

What is expected of you • Improving the process & systems by which graduating students are placed in companies to maximise the students’ outcomes, while optimising for opportunities available with companies • Analysing on-going company processes & working with curriculum/operations team to better help students get setup for companies processes & requirements • Lead a team that provide career services to our graduating students • Help create & review resumes/cover letters • Help create & review student profiles on job portals • Conduct mock interviews and provide structured feedback • Understand individual student strengths & weaknesses • Help students identify relevant roles & opportunities • Provide feedback & direction to students after interviews • Provide career services to our graduating students • Help create & review student profiles & provide feedback • Understand individual student strengths & weaknesses • Help students identify relevant roles & opportunities • Provide feedback & direction to students after interviews • Plan hiring events • Set up placement week(s) & run the process for some graduating batches • Help alumni in returning to placements • Work with curriculum team • Receive feedback from recruiters & convey to the curriculum team • Analyse patterns in feedback if any & share with curriculum team • Conduct and present competitive analyses and market research • Identify industry trends and insights • Partner with the BD team • Requirement planning • Ideate & execute strategies to grow the hiring partner network in line with upcoming student batches • Translate ideas to actionable items that deliver business results • Analyse, recommend, and lead the implementation of growth initiatives What you will need to bring • 3-8 years of work experience • Strong data orientation & knowledge of basic data tools - excel in particular • Good process orientation and rigour to set & follow through processes • Good interpersonal skills, being able to both listen and convince people • Strong technical orientation, keeping abreast with latest technologies • Passion to work with people, help them along their careers • Excellent written & verbal communication skills You will be expected to • Think on your feet • Not be scared of coming up with new ideas • Learn quickly • Be able to use data gathered from your experiments to draw conclusions A successful candidate will be • Passionate about making a difference with their work • Self-starter with the ability to effectively work autonomously • Equipped with strong fundamentals but flexible & willing to experiment • Excellent communication and collaboration skills Bonus if you have • Experience and/or interest in technology • A desire to level the playing field • A non-traditional story.
