JOB DESCRIPTION

Qualifications:
A Master’s Degree or higher in any academic major in Sociology/Political Science/Economics

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

• Knowledge of NEP and work towards integrating language curriculum towards it
• Recognise multiple ways in which students learn
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. Possess an integrated outlook on learning
• Communication – communicate professionally and empathetically.
• Multi-task - Ability to expeditiously organize, coordinate and manage multiple tasks
• Relationship Management – Relate well with colleagues and the larger interests of the organisation
• Organization & Time Management – achieve goals within or ahead of established time frames.
• Collaborate with other faculty and staff within the department to develop, evaluate, revise and enhance curriculum and ensure mastery of the material.
• Support and promote the mission of the Humanities Department, which centers on excellence in teaching and learning through quality instruction, curriculum enhancement, service, and faculty professional development.
• Collaborate with the Head of the department, department faculty, and staff, as well as other college officials to assist with implementing college policies, objectives, and strategic vision.
• Participate in departmental and faculty meetings, committee work, as well as service to the college as requested.
• Strictly honor the privacy, security, and confidentiality of student records and other sensitive information according to college regulations, policies and procedures.
• Provide service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
