Job Overview We are looking for a Junior IB EYP Homeroom Teacher to join our team in Whitefield, Bangalore. As an IB EYP Homeroom Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and nurturing learning environment for young learners. This is a full-time position ideal for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience. Qualifications And Skills • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field. • IB PYP or EYP certification preferred. • Proven experience working with young learners in an IB or international school setting. • Excellent knowledge of the IB curriculum and its implementation. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences. • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children. • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and differentiate instruction to meet individual needs. • Organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work collaboratively with a team. Roles And Responsibilities • Create a positive and nurturing learning environment for young learners in the IB EYP program. • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans based on the IB curriculum. • Facilitate the holistic development of students through activities that promote intellectual, physical, social, and emotional growth. • Monitor and assess students' progress and provide timely feedback to parents and guardians. • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create an integrated and cohesive learning experience for students. • Establish effective communication with parents and actively involve them in their child's education. • Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, behavior, and academic performance. • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with the latest educational practices.
