your role & responsibility

As a Pre-school Director at Openhouse, you will play a pivotal role in managing and operating the preschool entrusted to you. Your responsibilities will include:

• Drive Openhouse's mission to the teachers and help in their professional development
• Manage day to day activities including sales, administration and operations
• Build and manage relationships with teachers, parents and team members
• Demonstrates care and commitment to academic excellence and safe teaching and learning environment at the centre
• Own the P/L of the hub and be the key problem solver. Drive revenue growth as well as bringing in operational efficiency at the centre.
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents, sharing insights into their child's progress and milestones.
• Promote and represent Openhouse during parent facing events like trials, camps, PTM days

the ideal candidate

We are looking for individuals who resonate with our mission and are committed to providing a transformative preschool experience. The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Passion for Holistic Growth: A genuine passion for nurturing emotional, cognitive, social, and physical development in young children through creative and engaging activities.
• Minimum 5-10 years of work experience in early childhood education and exposure to modern pedagogies like Reggio Emilia, Montessori, IB etc
• Possess exceptional interpersonal, communication, leadership and managerial skills Ability to navigate a complex and unstructured cross-functional environment.
• Empathy and Patience: A nurturing and patient demeanor, with the ability to connect with children on an individual level and create a safe, supportive learning environment.
• Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to engage parents in meaningful discussions about their child's progress.
• Team Player: A collaborative attitude to work effectively within a team of educators and contribute to a positive and dynamic work atmosphere.
• Location Familiarity: Familiarity with the Bangalore city areas of Indiranagar or Sarjapur.
