Job description:

Designation: Primary School Computer Teacher

Key areas you will be responsible for/job description:

• Co-create/develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum, academic standards, and overall Education Philosophy
• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student engagement and achievement.
• Strong focus on safety, wellness, and pastoral care, providing a nurturing, engaging, happy, and positive environment for our learning community.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide feedback to students, parents, and the Inventure leadership team.
• Collaborate with other teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities.
• Participate in school events and Beyond Academics activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with best practices.

Competencies and job qualifications required:

Education:

• Bachelor’s from an accredited institution in a related field. (Computer Science background and a Master’s degree preferred)
• Valid Teaching Certification preferred - programming languages / Python / Java

Experience:

• 3 - 4 years of full-time teaching experience in the relevant subject areas. Experience in teaching CIE/IB Curriculum will be an advantage.
