Job Overview: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Primary School Teacher specialized in English to join our educational institution. The Primary School Teacher (PRT) will be responsible for teaching English to students in the primary grades, fostering a positive learning environment, and contributing to the overall development of students.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum Development:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that align with the curriculum.
• Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Integrate technology and interactive learning tools into lesson plans.
• Classroom Management:
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures.
• Manage student behavior effectively and apply appropriate disciplinary measures when necessary.
• Assessment and Evaluation:
• Design and administer assessments to evaluate students' progress in English.
• Provide constructive feedback on student performance and maintain accurate records of assessments.
• Collaborate with colleagues to analyze assessment data and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Parental Communication:
• Regularly communicate with parents regarding students' progress, behavior, and any concerns.
• Organize and participate in parent-teacher conferences to discuss students' academic development.
• Professional Development:
• Stay informed about educational trends, teaching methodologies, and best practices in English language instruction.
• Attend workshops, training sessions, and conferences to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
• Collaboration:
• Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administrators to create a supportive and cohesive educational environment.
• Participate in school events, committees, and activities to contribute to the school community.
• Student Support:
• Provide additional support to students who may require extra assistance in English language skills.
• Work with colleagues and support staff to identify and address individual learning needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Education.
• Mandatory experience of teaching in a CBSE school.
• Specialization in English language teaching is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Primary School Teacher, with a focus on English instruction for grades 1 to 5.
• Familiarity with modern teaching methods, educational technology, and differentiated instruction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
