Responsibilities

As Head of Institute - is authorized and responsible for all matters pertaining to establishment, training, Industry connect.

• Curriculum Development: Designing and updating training programs to align with industry needs and standards. This includes developing course materials, practical exercises, and assessments.
• Industry Partnerships: Establishing and maintaining partnerships with employers, industry associations, and government agencies to ensure that training programs meet current industry requirements and provide opportunities for internships or job placements.
• Instructional Leadership: Overseeing the delivery of training programs by qualified instructors, ensuring that teaching methods are effective and engaging.
• Student Support Services: Implementing support services such as career counselling, job placement assistance, and mentorship programs to help students succeed in their chosen careers.
• Facilities and Equipment Management: Ensuring that the institute's facilities and equipment are up-to-date and conducive to learning. This may involve procuring new equipment, maintaining existing facilities, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Quality Assurance: Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through student feedback, performance assessments, and industry feedback. Adjusting programs as needed to improve outcomes.
• Budgeting and Resource Management: Developing and managing the institute's budget, allocating resources effectively to support the delivery of training programs and maintain the institute's operations.
• Compliance and Accreditation: Ensuring that the institute complies with relevant regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. This includes maintaining documentation, reporting to regulatory agencies, and participating in accreditation processes.
• Community Engagement: Building relationships with local communities, employers, and stakeholders to raise awareness of the institute's programs and services and to foster collaboration opportunities.
• Professional Development: Providing opportunities for faculty and staff to enhance their skills and stay current with industry trends through training, workshops, and professional development activities.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Business Administration & Bachelor in Technical Education.
• 12-15+ years of experience in Industry, Vocational education & Skill development with deeper understanding of the context & Proven track records.
• Experience working with government agencies and navigating public sector processes is preferred.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience in team management and stakeholder engagement.
• Fluent in written and verbal communication abilities.
• A deep understanding of the startup ecosystem and experience with incubators or accelerators is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and manage a diverse team.
• Proficient in monitoring and evaluating program outcomes and making data-driven decisions.
