To lead the teachers, academics and administration of a new 250 student school, that will be applying for CBSE permission this year. A great opportunity for a candidate who likes to work independently. The school is located in Begur, Bangalore, Karnataka.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility of managing the students, staff and all the activities related to school as per state board norms.
• Delivering excellent quality scholastic and co-scholastic service to the students.
• Facilitating in-service workshops to motivate and update the teachers in teaching methodologies and curricula.
• Teacher’s recruitment whenever needed, maintaining discipline and decorum in school campus, getting feedback from students, teachers and parents and taking appropriate actions on it at appropriate time.
• Monitoring and maintaining a safe, healthy, peaceful environment in school.
• Formulating school policies and growth plans.
• Overall supervision of school accounts, transport, and staff.
• Setting up and maintenance of science, computer and language labs and library.
• Overseeing infrastructural maintenance and updating/advising the management for developmental projects.
• Communication with school corporate offices at Bangalore, BEO, DDPI and other stakeholders, service providers and vendors in a high-tech environment.
• Preparing cost effective budgets and guaranteeing optimum use of available resources.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Ideally the candidate has worked as a Principal/ Vice Principal in a CBSE school.
• Should be able to communicate in both English and Kannada effortlessly.
• Education - Masters degree with B.Ed will be essential.
