Job Description: Principal/Associate Academic Director, Bengaluru(Any location)

Job Summary:

The School Principal is responsible for the overall management and administration of the school, ensuring its smooth operation and the delivery of high-quality education. The role involves a combination of educational leadership, administrative duties, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Educational Leadership:

• Develop and communicate a clear educational vision for the school.
• Supervise and support teaching and administrative staff to ensure effective teaching and learning.
• Implement and oversee curriculum development and improvement.
• Monitor and evaluate student performance and academic programs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Strategic and Budgetary Planning : 

• Crafting a strategic blueprint for the School, which encompasses the formulation of a staffing and resource strategy.
• Involving the School's staff in the creation and comprehension of the School's plan.
• Evaluating the School's performance in alignment with the goals outlined in its strategic and staffing/resource plans.
• Holding accountability for all financial aspects, including financial strategizing and sustainability, resource distribution, the exploration of fresh revenue streams, vigilant expense tracking to maintain appropriateness, ensuring the integration of resource allocation into strategic and operational planning, compliance with approved financial policies, and ensuring that all staff members are well-informed about the extent and presence of financial regulations.
• Supervising and overseeing the implementation of the resource allocation process within the School.

Administrative Management:

• Develop and enforce school policies and procedures.
• Handle student discipline and behaviour management.
• Coordinate and participate in staff recruitment, training, and evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant education laws and regulations.

Community Engagement:

• Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and the broader community.
• Communicate with parents and stakeholders about school activities and student progress.
• Attend and organize school events, meetings, and conferences.
• Promote the school's reputation and image within the community.
• Curate content for the school webpage and facebook.

Safety and Security:

• Ensure the safety and security of students, staff, and school facilities.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance the school's performance.
• Stay current with educational trends and best practices

Qualifications:

• PH.D or M.ED or B.ED 
• Leadership experience of 3 -5 years working as a Principal or School head for a CBSE board school.
• Administrative experience in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Staying in Bengaluru or ready to relocate to Bengaluru.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
