Job Description Job Opening - Senior Design Faculty cum Head of Studio Years of experience:- 15+ years Education:- Master’s Degree in Fashion Design/Textile Design, a Ph.D. in Design will be preferable Job Location:- Mumbai, Khar- Bandra link Road, Mumbai KRA - The faculty will be responsible for teaching the students of Fashion design where the key knowledge area would be that of Fashion Design. The faculty will be responsible for developing and inculcating the design thinking process among the students and should be ready to up-skill himself/ herself on the new design technologies of. The faculty will also be responsible for marking and judging student work and giving timely feedback along with other faculty duties. Senior Design Faculty cum Head of Studio (1 no) • Qualified Expert in Fashion and Textile Design Profession- will also take classes in the studio • Administrative Head for the Studio. • All Studio Staff will report to this position for administrative purposes • This person will report to Senior Project Head for Curriculum and academic purposes • Responsible for constant updates of Resource Center at the Studio • Create short workshops for marketing the courses • Marketing activities in-studio and outside • Regular update to the President of SFC • Manage Training of Trainers at Studio • Manage student's queries and counseling in coordination with the Head Counsellor Programmatic: • Building teaching resources • Fostering ties between industry and academia • Building skills of the support staff • Identification and invitation to Guest faculty • Curating and organizing seminars and workshops Academic: • Teaching - Lesson planning, class preparation, class hours, student assessment and feedback and documentation. • Researching a range of topics relevant to the course and providing inputs during course planning • Streamlining course deliveries • Active participation in supporting student co-curricular activities Key skills  Excellent Communication Skills  Personal accountability for achieving high-quality outcomes  Ability to deal with Senior stakeholders as well as connect with students  Go-getter with a focus on Goal Achievement  Ability to stay calm under pressure and keep to deadlines  Ability to work with minimal supervision
