Role Description:

School of Business, Woxsen University, Hyderabad, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Professor/Associate/Assistant Professor in Business Analytics (Management) for a full-time position. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Business Analytics courses, conducting research, and providing academic guidance and support to students.

Immediate Joining will be preferred.

Job Description:

• Teaching specific courses across programs that are assigned, guiding and mentoring students inside and outside the class, preparing students for interviews with external organizations, planning and delivering “learning and development” initiatives for students and counseling students.
• Instrumental in doing research, writing & publishing research papers and writing cases in your domain.
• Support the activities of the Admissions and Placements at the school.
• Managing academic administration as assigned (managing exams, scheduling classes).
• Communicating with past, present and future students of Woxsen and other relevant stakeholders.
• Any other relevant duties and responsibilities that the school may require you to undertake from time to time.

Desired Profile:

• Ph.D. from a reputed institute (with MBA Background).
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively.
• Should possess communication skills (Both Written & Spoken English).
• Adequate research background.

Qualification

Minimum Qualification:

• An earned doctoral degree in Business Analytics (MBA Background) or closely related field, and a record as a publishing scholar commensurate with rank.
• Demonstrated experience teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate Preferred Qualification:
• Industry certification and/or professional experience, particularly in Data Analytics, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, SPSS, Oracle SQL, NoSQL, and Apache Spark/Hadoop.
• Experience using technology in teaching, and experience teaching hybrid web or online courses.

Experience Requirements:

Professor: Minimum of 12 years of teaching and research experience, with at least 6 years working as an Associate Professor.

Associate Professor: Minimum of 10 years of teaching and research experience, with at least 6 years as an Assistant Professor.

Assistant Professor: PhD in Business Administration or related field from a reputable university, with a minimum of 6 years of teaching and research experience.
