The incumbent shall be responsible for Teaching at Graduate level in Commerce & Management along with Co-ordination, Development of respective Programme of the university.
Qualifying Criteria – PROFESSOR
- The candidate should be a Ph.D. with First Class (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in a Master’s Degree in concerned/relevant discipline.
- Minimum 10 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals
- Minimum Research Score of 120
- Successfully guided at least 2 doctoral candidates.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, of which at least 3 years shall be equivalent to Associate Professor.
OR
In the event, the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:
- A Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master’s Degree in concerned/relevant discipline.
OR
- A Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in two years full-time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU / recognized by the AICTE / UGC.
OR
- First Class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost and Works Accountant / Company Secretary of the concerned statutory body.
AND
- The candidate should have professional work experience which is significant and can be recognized at the national / International level as equivalent to Ph.D. and 10- 15 years’ managerial experience in the industry should be at the Senior Managerial level in a large Organization/MNC/Conglomerate.
- Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed Journals. Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and patent filed.
Qualifying Criteria – ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
- The candidate should be a Ph.D. with First Class (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master’s Degree in concerned/relevant discipline.
- Minimum 7 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals
- Minimum Research Score of 75
- Minimum of 8 years of full-time experience in teaching/research/industry* out of which at least 3 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience.
OR
In the event, that the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:
- A Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master’s Degree in concerned/relevant discipline.
OR
- A Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in two-year full-time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU / recognized by the AICTE / UGC.
OR
- First Class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost and Works Accountant / Company Secretary of the concerned statutory body.
AND
- The candidate should have professional work experience which is significant and can be recognized at the national / International level as equivalent to Ph.D. and eight years of managerial experience in the industry should be at the Senior Managerial level in a large Organization/MNC/Conglomerate.
- Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed Journals. Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and patent filed.
Qualifying Criteria – ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
- A Master ‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in concerned / relevant discipline from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET.
OR
- A candidate has been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
AND
- Minimum 2 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals
OR
- First Class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost and Works Accountant / Company Secretary of the concerned bodies.
Without prejudice to the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable:
- Ph.D preferred with entry-level 2 years experience is desirable but not mandatory.
- The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D. work in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency.
- Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and a patent filed.
Pay Scales: As per UGC guidelines; but will not be a constraint for the right candidate.
