Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Professor/Associate Professor in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology, located in Ernakulam. The professor will be responsible for teaching computer science and engineering courses, conducting research in the field, and providing guidance and support to students. The role includes developing and delivering lectures, designing and grading assignments and exams, and participating in departmental activities and committees. Particularly, we are looking for candidates with expertise in various areas of computer science, including programming languages, algorithms, data structures, software engineering, and computer networks. Proficiency in modern technologies and frameworks is desirable, along with a strong understanding of Computer system design, Database Management Systems (DBMS), Computer Organization, Operating Systems, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Computer networks, Distributed Systems, Web Technologies, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), Data Science, etc.

Experience:

• Professor - Minimum of 5-10 years of experience, with at least 5 years at the level of Associate Professor.
• Associate Professor - Minimum of 5 years of experience, including 2 years of post-Ph.D. experience.

Research Profile:

• Faculty members capable of effectively conducting research and providing consultancy services will be given consideration.
• Faculty members with significant Scopus/SCI/Q1,Q2, Q3, Q4 publications will be given consideration.
