ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a knowledgeable and reliable Professor to join our esteemed faculty. They will be responsible for delivering high-quality academic instructions, conducting research, and contributing to the overall academic environment of the institution. The position involves teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses, advising students, engaging in scholarly activities, and participating in service activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and deliver lectures, seminars, and other instructional materials in the subject area.
• Assess and evaluate student performance through examinations, assignments, and other assessment methods
• Provide feedback and guidance to students to enhance their academic progress.
• Assisting with the training and recruitment of new lecturers, teaching assistants, and Professors.
• Conducting research, publishing papers, and attending conferences.
• Attending academic events and networking with other researchers and field experts.
• Organizing guest seminars and faculty events where students can interact with established industry professionals.
• Traveling to other higher education settings to gain experience and expand networks.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

The eligibility criteria for the job posting mentioned are for the people who have:

• Minimum qualification of B.E./ B. Tech & ME/ M. Tech in Computer Science with 1st class and PhD in Computer Science from a reputed university.
• Proven experience of 10 years in teaching/ research /industrial experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate professor. or minimum of 13 years’ experience in teaching and/or Research Industry. In case of research experience, good academic record and books/ research paper publications /IPR/ patents record shall be required as deemed fit by the expert members of the selection committee.
• If the experience in industry is considered, the same shall be at managerial level equivalent to Associate Professor with active participation record in devising/ designing, planning, executing, analyzing, quality control, innovating, training, technical books/ research paper publications / IPR/ patents, etc., as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection committee.
• Experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning/ Cyber Security/ Data Engineering shall be advantageous.
• Should have graduated 2 PhD students.
• Strong analytical, observational, and problem-solving skills.
• A good record of attending conferences and academic events.
• Minimum of 10 Impact Factor Publications in SCOPUS/SEI/SCIE is mandatory.
• Excellent research, teaching, and presentation skills.
