SGT University is in search for seasoned academicians with proven track record as Professor of Sciences for its campus near Delhi. The University, in its campus spread over 70 acres near Gurgaon, offers courses in Medicine, Engineering, Hotel Management, Business Management, Arts and Science. Position Name: Professor -Faculty of Applied and Basic Sciences (Physics ,Chemistry ,Maths) Job Description: The Professor is responsible for program planning, assessment, and development of programs and services at all levels of the Department. He/she manages, hires and develops faculty to achieve institutional goals. The Professor drives excellence in teaching and learning through pedagogical innovations and solutions incorporating new technology, online, and blended options. The candidate works in close collaboration with his/her colleagues at the school’s leadership level and with program managers, faculty development and faculty. He/she is responsible for student satisfaction and assuring that students achieve the learning outcomes identified. He/she is a leader and team player with strong problem solving and communications skills. Has comfort level and passion working in an entrepreneurial, start-up. Good knowledge of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC, NBA. Qualification & Experience: • Ph.D. degree Sciences with good academic record with evidence of published work and research guidance. • Must have Minimum of 10-15 years of teaching / research/administration experience in a University/ Faculty of Applied and Basic Sciences • The candidate must possess experience qualifications per the requirements of the UGC • Demonstrated leadership skills and impact in an academic setting • Demonstrated experience and comfort working in an entrepreneurial environment, operating with a start-up mentality • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and fluency in spoken and written English • Demonstrated ability to work with multicultural teams and in an international environment Salary: · As per University rules, salary no bar for exceptional candidates Application Process: · Eligible candidates should mail the cv to career@sgtuniversity.org
