Techno Centre Engineering (TCE) at the MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Engineer-Electronics to join our team. You will play a key role in assisting with the delivery of efficient engineering support and solutions for various industrial projects.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Engineer - Electronics at TCE. The Project Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to project management, project engineering, project planning, and electrical engineering. The role will involve working on-site at the Ramaiah Technology Campus (RTC) Bengaluru, India.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle from concept to prototype.
• Design and develop electronic circuits, including analog, digital, resistive & frequency circuits, for embedded systems.
• Possess strong expertise in schematics & PCB design with DFM/DFA principles in mind.
• Experience with hardware-software integration for industrial applications.
• Develop firmware for electronic devices and integrate with IoT/IIoT protocols.
• Design and optimize power circuits for efficient operation.
• Utilize C, C++, and Python for basic programming tasks.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure project success.
• Test, verify, modify, fabricate, and assemble prototypes.
• Analyze project requirements and develop market-fit product solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electronic components and technologies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in electronics design and development.
• Hands-on experience with various electronic components and peripherals (sensors, MCUs, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Ethernet switches, temperature controllers, displays, motors, AC-DC converters, power supplies).
• Proficiency in schematic and PCB design tools.
• Understanding of DFM/DFA principles.
• Familiarity with embedded systems development.
• Experience with IoT/IIoT/IoMT technologies a plus.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, Python).
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
