Quantity Surveyor (Job Vacancy)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Quantity Surveyor with an MBA degree from NICMAR or RICS to join our Civil Engineering Institute. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive course on Quantity Surveying, integrating both theoretical and practical aspects to equip our students with industry-ready skills. Responsibilities Course Development: • Design and develop a detailed curriculum for the Quantity Surveying course, incorporating modules on cost estimation, budget management, Estimation Software, Project Accounting & Cost Management, Valuation of Real Properties, Construction Safety, Quality, and Risk Management, and other relevant topics. • Ensure that the course content aligns with industry standards and reflects the latest trends, technologies, and practices in Quantity Surveying. Teaching And Training • Conduct engaging and informative sessions for students, utilizing both online and offline modes, ensuring a high level of understanding and skill development. • Offer guidance, mentorship, and career development support to students, preparing them for industry challenges. Practical Training • Facilitate practical training sessions, incorporating real-world case studies and hands-on exercises to reinforce theoretical concepts. • Regularly update course content to incorporate the latest trends, technologies, and practices in Quantity Surveying. Qualifications • An MBA degree from NICMAR or RICS, specializing in Quantity Surveying. • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the construction industry, with a solid track record in Quantity Surveying. • Strong command of Quantity Surveying software and tools, with the ability to impart this knowledge effectively. • Demonstrated expertise and practical experience in cost estimation, budget management, and the application of Quantity Surveying principles in real-world scenarios.
