The Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient atmosphere in our school's front office. This position involves greeting visitors, assisting parents, students, and staff, and performing various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors, parents, students, and staff in a warm and friendly manner.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
- Provide accurate information to inquiries about the school's programs, events, and policies.
- Manage the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable.
- Assist with student check-ins, tardy arrivals, and dismissals.
- Maintain and update student attendance records as necessary.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Coordinate appointments and meetings for school staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.
