Regional Representative - European University in Mumbai (Job Vacancy)

Gresham Global is currently seeking to fill the position of Regional Representative for a European University. Gresham Global represents the University in South Asia as its regional office.

The role of a Regional Representative (South Asia) will be based in Mumbai, India and entails the following:

Student Recruitment:

• Represent and promote the University’s offerings at education fairs, exhibitions, and relevant seminars to attract students from the region.
• Deliver presentations and seminars at various schools and colleges, providing individual counseling sessions to students and their key influencers.
• Develop and maintain working relationships with key personnel from various international schools (IBDP, Cambridge, etc.), colleges, and universities.
• Ensure an outstanding experience for every student throughout their application journey.
• Follow up with prospective students to address queries and provide necessary support.
• Organize events for students at different application stages to enhance conversions, such as Offer Holder events, Pre-Departure briefings, etc.
• Plan and arrange necessary visits for the team from the international office and academics.
• Collaborate closely with partners to ensure the submission of high-quality applications.
• Cultivate a professional working relationship with agents and consultants, providing regular updates, feedback, and information.
• Work closely with high school counsellors to recruit quality students from its respective schools and colleges.
• Conduct regular in-person training sessions for partner agents and consultants across India

Marketing Initiatives:

• Collaborate closely with the University’s International Office and Marketing team to implement digital and social marketing strategies.
• Provide necessary inputs to the team for marketing collateral such as student giveaways, prospectuses, etc.
• Develop a comprehensive plan for social media and SEO tailored to the Indian market
• Promote the University’s offerings, events, visits and important events on LinkedIn and other wider Social Media audience.

Brand Building

• Foster the University's brand across institutes, agents, and consultants.
• Collaborate with the alumni to create an alumni chapter, enabling them to share their experiences with prospective Indian students.
• Adhere to the University's principles and ensure the brand is well-represented and visible.

Candidate Profile – Competencies, Experience, and Skills

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (preferably from Europe or the UK).
• 4 – 6 years of experience working with an international university in student recruitment.
• Previous experience of study, work, or living in Europe or the UK will be advantageous.
• Incumbent should be adaptive, analytical and possesses sharp business acumen.
• Experience of working with agents, partners and local institutes preferred.
• Open to travel across the region to attend recruitment fairs, events, seminars, and support other recruitment initiatives.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
• Possess excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Critical thinker with the ability to provide effective solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
• Exhibit strong presentation skills.

Location: Chembur, Mumbai.

This is a full time office based role.
