Role Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in edtech and University B2B sales.

You will be responsible for driving business growth by engaging with key stakeholders at University and companies such as Placement Centres, HoDs, Principals & Vice Chancellors.

Skills and Experience:

  • 8+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the Edtech industry/University sales or HR.
  • Strong exposure to University / Institutional Sales B2B
  • Strong understanding of how to approach University/college Principals, Dean, Chancellors etc.
  • “Feet on the Street” approach - Responsible for physically visiting and engaging with clients in your local or regional areas.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to develop, pitch, and close large deals.
  • Proficiency in developing and presenting winning proposals to clients.
  • Proven ability to generate leads through various methods, including cold calling and meeting scheduling.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for identifying and mapping potential clients in the education sector.
  • Responsible for onboarding universities by signing MOU
  • Responsible for cultivating, building, nurturing & maintaining strong relationships with Colleges and Universities.
  • Build & maintain rapport with the International College and University management, decision-makers & HoDs.
  • Maintain relationships with existing partners, and identify and onboard potential new partners.
  • Will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, achieving sales targets, and fostering a high-performance sales culture.
  • This position requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of sales processes, and a commitment to driving revenue growth.
  • Maintain regular follow-ups over calls to nurture and expand the sales pipeline.
  • Actively reach out to targeted clients, including schools, colleges, universities, and corporate entities, using various communication channels.

Sales Planning:

  • Create and maintain a sales plan, including sales forecasts, budgets, and territory plans.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and company objectives.
  • Create attractive and meaningful presentations to be delivered in events, workshops, interview prep talks.
  • Organize engagement activities, events and actively counsel students in such events.

Sales Reporting:

  • Generate and analyze sales reports, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.

Post Sales Support:

  • Work as a bridge between the company & partners for smooth conduct of courses.

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA)or equivalent
