We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead and manage the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP systems within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP technologies, project management methodologies, and leadership skills to successfully deliver projects on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Management:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and closure of SAP projects, including scope definition, resource allocation, timeline development, and risk management.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track project progress against milestones and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT professionals, consultants, and vendors, to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• SAP Implementation and Enhancement:
  • Oversee the implementation, customization, and configuration of SAP modules and solutions, such as SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/BI, SAP CRM, etc., based on business requirements.
  • Work closely with business users to gather and analyze requirements, identify gaps, and design solutions that meet business needs and industry best practices.
  • Manage change requests, enhancements, and upgrades to existing SAP systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and maximum ROI.
• Stakeholder Communication and Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular project updates, resolving issues, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, project sponsors, steering committees, and external partners, to ensure alignment and support for project goals.
• Quality Assurance and Risk Management:
  • Implement quality assurance processes and methodologies to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of SAP systems and solutions.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and constraints proactively, developing contingency plans as needed to minimize project disruptions and delays.
• Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead and motivate project teams, including internal staff and external consultants, to achieve project objectives, foster collaboration, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members, promoting professional growth and development within the organization.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP project management, overall 8-10 years of SAP experience, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex SAP projects from initiation to completion.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP technologies, modules, and solutions, as well as SAP implementation methodologies (e.g., ASAP, Activate).
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively, manage budgets and resources, and mitigate project risks.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• SAP certification(s) in relevant modules or areas of expertise is a plus.
• Experience working in Pharma, Engineering, Project Driven Organizations is desirable.
