Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced TGT SST Teacher to join our prestigious CBSE School. As a TGT SST Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Social Studies to students in grades 3 to 10, following the CBSE curriculum.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Social Studies curriculum aligned with CBSE guidelines.
- Utilize various teaching methodologies and techniques to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through regular assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on their academic performance.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and student engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Social Studies department's teaching resources.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's and Master's degree in related field.
- B Ed qualification is mandatory.
- Valid teaching certification or qualification.
- Proven experience as a TGT SST Teacher in a CBSE school.
- Thorough knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
