Role: Marketing Manager Employment Type : Full-Time Experience : 5-7 Years Location : Hyderabad Position Summary: As the Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in driving our sales initiatives, focusing primarily on schools as our target audience. Reporting directly to the Sales and Marketing Head, your role encompasses building, training, and managing a dedicated sales team. Your primary objective will be to come up with innovative sales strategies and execute them to establish Coschool as a leader in the edtech sector by forging strong connections with educational institutions. Your previous experience, especially your network and connections within the educational sector, will be invaluable to our mission. Key Responsibilities: Team Building and Leadership: Recruit, build, and lead a high-performing sales team tailored to the needs of the education sector. Conduct ongoing training and professional development for the team, emphasizing the unique aspects of selling to schools. Create a culture of collaboration, motivation, and accountability within the sales team. Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy targeting schools, aligning with Coschool’s goals and vision. Identify and capitalize on key markets and segments within the education sector for our products. Establish sales targets and KPIs, and design incentive programs to drive team performance. Market Analysis and Adaptation: Perform thorough market research to understand trends, challenges, and opportunities in the edtech space, especially in the context of schools. Adapt sales strategies in response to market dynamics and competitor activities. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure our offerings meet market demands. Sales Operations and Reporting: Oversee day-to-day sales operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and high standards of professionalism. Implement and manage CRM software like LSQ and other sales tools such as Tata Tele for efficient tracking of sales activities and customer engagement. Regularly report to the Business Head on sales progress, challenges encountered, and strategic adjustments. Relationship Building and Networking: Utilize and expand your existing network within the educational community, particularly with key decision-makers in schools. Represent Coschool at industry events and conferences, enhancing our brand presence in the education sector. Cultivate lasting relationships with schools, ensuring they understand and value the benefits of partnering with Coschool. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Education, or related field. • Minimum 5-7 years of sales experience, with a proven track record in leadership roles. • Demonstrated experience in the education technology sector, with a strong network in the educational community. • Excellent communication skills are a must, both verbal and written. • Proficiency in setting up and managing CRM platforms like LSQ and familiarity with sales tools such as Tata Tele. • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. • Desirable Attributes: • Passionate about education and technology. • Innovative and strategic thinker. • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions. • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
