We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our team at Infotel India (Chennai).
As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for implementing and ensuring the adoption of Agile principles and practices within our organisation. You will facilitate the effective use of Scrum processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, and sprint reviews
- Coaching and supporting the development team in agile practices and the adoption of Scrum
- Removing any impediments or barriers that may prevent the team from reaching their sprint goals
- Working closely with product owners to ensure the product backlog is properly maintained and prioritized
- Monitoring and tracking the team's progress and providing regular status updates to stakeholders
Requirements
- Scrum Master certification, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
- Experience working as a Scrum Master in an Agile software development environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of Scrum principles, practices, and frameworks
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and empower teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
