Job Summary: Edwings Overseas Education Consultants Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Application Specialist with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience to join our team. The Application Specialist will play a crucial role in assisting students who wish to study abroad by guiding them through the application process for universities and colleges worldwide. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the admissions process and visa requirements for different countries, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Management:
- Evaluate students' academic and personal profiles to recommend suitable universities and courses.
- Assist students in filling out application forms for universities and colleges, ensuring all necessary documents are submitted correctly and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with academic institutions and students to track application progress and address any issues or concerns.
- Admissions Guidance:
- Stay updated on admission requirements, deadlines, and procedures for various universities and colleges in popular study abroad destinations.
- Provide detailed information to students regarding academic qualifications, standardized tests, personal statements, and reference letters.
- Offer guidance on improving application materials to enhance students' chances of admission.
- Visa Assistance:
- Guide students through the visa application process for different countries, ensuring they understand the requirements and documentation needed.
- Collaborate with relevant authorities and embassies to stay informed about changes in visa regulations.
- Customer Service:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents by providing outstanding customer service.
- Address inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive client experience.
- Knowledge Sharing:
- Conduct research and stay updated on changes in international education policies, visa regulations, and university admissions criteria.
- Share knowledge and information with colleagues to enhance the team's expertise.
- Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of student applications and visa applications.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on application progress and success rates.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of international education consulting.
- In-depth knowledge of international education systems, university admissions processes, and visa requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for application management and customer relationship management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Multilingual skills may be an advantage, depending on the client base.
