Job Title: Senior Academic Counsellor / Senior Admission Counsellor/ Counsellor
Locations: Noida and Chennai
Responsibilities:
• Utilize various channels such as phone calls, emails, social media, and networking events to generate leads and inquiries from prospective students.
• Engage with prospective students to understand their educational goals, interests, and needs.
• Provide information about academic programs, admission requirements, tuition fees, and financial aid options to prospective students.
• Conduct sales consultations and follow-up interactions to address inquiries, overcome objections, and guide students through the enrollment process.
• Use persuasion and negotiation techniques to convert inquiries into enrollments and meet or exceed sales targets.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective students, providing personalized support and guidance throughout the enrollment journey.
• Provide excellent customer service to prospective students, ensuring a positive experience from initial inquiry to enrollment.
• Address student inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
• Assist students with the application process, enrollment forms, and any documentation required for admission.
• Prepare regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and enrollment trends for management review.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, education, or related field.
• Previous 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, academic advising, counseling, student services, or related area preferably in the education sector.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with prospective students.
• Proficient in English language skills, including written and verbal communication, for effective engagement with prospective candidates. For Chennai Tamil is mandatory.
• Sales-oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Knowledge of educational programs, admission processes, and financial aid options.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, sales tracking tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and support to prospective students.
