Senior Manager (Content Production and Copy Editing), Marketing and Communications Department, ISB

We are currently seeking an experienced candidate to join our team as Senior Manager (Content Production and Copy Editing), towards our efforts to disseminate ISB’s research and thought leadership in various content formats for key stakeholders, including professionals, executives, students, academicians, industry experts, and policymakers.
The position holder will report to the Associate Director, Content, in the ISB’s Marketing and Communications Department.
Key Responsibilities
• Execute a research and knowledge dissemination strategy aligned with ISB's goals, values, and target audience
• Create, curate, edit, and publish text and multimedia content, including articles, videos, podcasts, infographics, and interactive content, created from ISB’s research database and expertise
• Focus on and create explainer-type content that simplifies complex concepts and provides insights to the target audience
• Work with a team of content creators and provide guidance, mentorship, and feedback on content development and production
• Provide strategic input and expertise in developing and launching new content initiatives
Candidate Profile
• Preferably a master’s in communications or journalism with 8+ years of experience in creating and editing multimedia content, including news reports, opinion-analysis articles, videos, podcasts, and infographics, in a newsroom or content production unit
• Strong analytical writing skills with the ability to produce explainer-type content that simplifies complex concepts – in various formats, such as sharp summaries, long-form narratives, listicles, et al
• Experience of working with multimedia formats and social media, such as writing for different platforms and knowledge of video/podcast scripting & production
• Proven track record of working on a broad range of topics as a reporter/writer/editor
• Experience of managing mandates and teams for multimedia content creation
• Proven collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Desired Attributes
• Familiarity with launch team dynamics and experience in launching new content initiatives within a media organisation.
• Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), multimedia editing tools, and SEO principles
• Possess an understanding of the Indian social and business landscape, including its economic needs as a growing economy
• Stay updated with relevant industry trends, policy changes, and socio-economic developments to inform content creation and provide valuable insights to the audience
