The Sr. Associate/Lead Catalyse (Civic Volunteering) will be part of the team driving PAN India program empowering volunteer teams from cities and colleges in driving impact projects across causes. He/She is responsible for managing, coaching and developing these volunteer leaders towards scaling and deepening impact through their projects. He/She will have strategic and operational responsibilities including supporting volunteer leaders recruitment/management/retention, project scoping, project scaling and facilitating a robust support ecosystem for volunteer leaders.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Lead initiatives towards promoting a strong culture of volunteerism and civic responsibility among citizens, especially youth
- Lead and execute efforts to identify, recruit and onboard volunteers and volunteer leaders for the program
- Design overall vision, goals and roadmap for the volunteer leaders and their projects. Plan and execute robust support structures for volunteer leaders and teams including mentoring, problem solving, partnerships and expert connections
- Support volunteer teams with operational aspects including but not limited to project management portal, marketing, communication and finance
- Lead the overall data collection, analysis, reporting and management for the volunteer teams
- Lead and support in partnerships and collaborations towards scaling the number of volunteer teams and accelerate impact of existing teams
Preferred Education Qualification / Experience:
- Prior volunteering experience is mandatory .
- Minimum two year experience in project management is preferable
- Minimum one year of experience in managing a team is preferable
- Prior experience in the non-profit sector would be an advantage.
