The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team.

Collaborating with our teams in London and Noida, India, you will be taking the lead in translating business requirements into technical requirements for our Developers & Testers.

You will be responsible for defining your career in a financial technology company that provides amazing opportunities for growth and progression.

As a Senior Business Analyst (preferably, specializing in Salesforce area within the fintech sector), you will play a pivotal role in analysing, interpreting, and translating requirements into actionable insights and strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineers, Product Managers, Architects, and other stakeholders (including third party vendor resources), to drive various initiatives and projects that build new or enhance our existing products.

Responsibilities:

• Domain Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of fintech concepts to contribute valuable insights into multiple projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of their needs and expectations
• Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that support strategic decision-making and enhance business performance
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and improvement within data workflows, suggesting innovative solutions to enhance data collection, integration, and reporting processes
• Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, User Stories, and workflow diagrams, to facilitate efficient communication across teams
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and consensus on various initiatives, ensuring that technical and non-technical stakeholders are always well informed and engaged
• Quality Assurance: Contribute to data quality initiatives, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Project Management: Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and communicating project status to relevant stakeholders

In other words, you are responsible to/for:

• Work with Product Managers to understand and analyse business needs
• Talk with Business and Internal stakeholders and gather requirements
• Refine them and convert them into tech terminologies so it becomes easier for the tech team to pick up
• Solutionize on the technology platforms e.g. Salesforce Lightning Platform
• Help us maintain the in-house loans & savings platform and build new products like new credit card platform
• Third-Party stakeholder management.
• Document existing systems and processes.
• Help us roll out new products /features to internal as well as external end users
• Train operations to use newly launched system processes
• Perform business readiness and impact analysis
• Help developers understand the larger picture

Requirements

Must have skills and experience:

• A bachelor's degree (from an accredited university) preferably in business or related field or an MBA
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience working in similar roles
• Hands-on experience on Salesforce Lightning Platform, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Any Salesforce certification(s)
• Marketing Cloud Knowledge and experience
• Experience operating within an Agile delivery methodology and experience working with Jira & Confluence
• Ability to understand and read API docs and specifications (e.g. OpenAPI).
• Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Further desirable skills and experience:

• BA certification (e.g. IIBA certification, PMI-BA, etc.)
• Fintech Experience in Lending, Saving, or Credit Card (consumer banking)
• Other skills like Technical Understanding, Problem Solving, Leadership, Collaboration and Teamwork, Analytical, Interpersonal, Organization, etc
