Engineering team at Updraft is a global one with engineers working from UK, USA, Italy, Bulgaria with London as its HQ. Responsibilities

• As a full stack engineer at Updraft, you will design and build client-side as well as server-side components that run seamlessly with client. You will also be involved in architectural improvements and make sure the efficiency of our code is always on point
• You will build robust and scalable applications and features using internal and external APIs (such as Modulr, Truelayer, Checkout.com) that improve different aspects of existing lending product such as loan application, collections and payments
• You will work along side backend-end team and product team to build new features and products that will change the way people handle their personal finances

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience, with a strong emphasis on React for front-end and Python for back-end development
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Django/Flask, React, Cloud Computing (AWS/Google Cloud), Git, Docker, Postgres, and other relevant technologies
• Architecture Skills: Experience in designing and scaling services in a microservices architecture
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and a proven ability to tackle complex technical challenges
• Education: Degree in Computer Science or related field from a reputable institution is preferred
• Communication: Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration
