KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership and guidance to teaching staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment conducive to professional growth and development.
- Oversee the development and implementation of age-appropriate curriculum and instructional practices that promote student engagement, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback and support to teachers to enhance teaching effectiveness and student learning outcomes.
- Coordinate and facilitate staff meetings, professional development sessions, and curriculum planning sessions to ensure alignment with educational goals and objectives.
- Manage day-to-day operations and administrative tasks, including student enrolment, scheduling, parent communication, and staff supervision.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement policies, procedures, and initiatives that support the overall mission and vision of the preschool.
- Serve as a liaison between teachers, parents, and management, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering positive relationships within the preschool community.
- Stay updated on best practices and trends in early childhood education, incorporating innovative strategies and methodologies to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional teaching certification/license.
- Proven experience (3 to 5 years) as a classroom teacher, with demonstrated success in instructional leadership and school administration.
- Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of educators to achieve excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Passion for teaching and learning, with a genuine love for children and a commitment to their holistic development.
