Role and Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and analyzing software and system specifications
• Developing and creating test plans and effective strategies
• Analysing the system and ensuring the test strategies align with the requirements of the development process.
• Identifying bugs and creating reports to highlight the status of the software application
• Running debug programmes to fix the defects
• Updating all bug databases with accurate information
• Providing assistance with troubleshooting issues
• Collaborating with software developers
• Researching new testing processes and technologies
• Identifying and isolating bugs and errors in codes
• Working in cross-functional teams to ensure quality during a software development project
• Setting quality standards
• Driving efficiency and innovation in the testing procedures
• Documenting the testing procedure, testing progress and results
• Providing feedback and assistance with software design.

Functional/Technical skills:

• Manual Testing, Automation Testing, Selenium, Junit/Nunit, Load Testing using Apache
• JMeter or any other Tool preferrable,
