JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Providing training and technical assistance to teachers and education professionals.
- Work alongside the Program Manager to support local partners and ensure quality implementation, including fieldwork to support school visits, work plans and training.
- Assist with organization of meetings, conferences, events and travel
- Strong ability to manage, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks
- Be committed to meeting the needs of a diverse student population.
- Facilitating workshops / meetings (both online and offline), as well as identifying resource professionals.
- Help and support in curriculum/content development and research
POSITION: Assistant manager Special Educator
Location: Delhi
REQUIRED SKILLS; QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s/ Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, priority on cross disability courses (RCI Registered)
- Have 3 to 5 years of successful classroom teaching experience in inclusive school or program coordinator of a special school/ therapy center; plus, additional administrative/supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of best practices in curriculum design, and an advanced understanding of instructional strategies for students with autism, specific learning disabilities, Intellectual impairment and Multiple disability.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of members.
- Excellent computer skills
- Supporting the planning of special education initiative and the implementation of initiatives in Inclusive education
- Have excellent time-management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Thorough knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Strong written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skill
