Job Description

"You will play a pivotal role in providing guidance and support to students, helping them navigate academic, personal, and career-related challenges. You will be responsible for making outbound calls to potential Prospects and providing information about our courses. You will represent the University professionally over the phone, engage with prospects effectively, and achieve admission targets through persuasive communication and counselling skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Counselling: Provide individual and group counselling sessions to students to address academic concerns, personal challenges, and career aspirations.
  • Academic Advising: Assist students in course selection, academic planning, and goal setting to ensure progress toward graduation and post-secondary education.
  • Career Counselling: Offer guidance and resources for career exploration.
  • College Admission Support: Guide students through the college admission process, application assistance and financial aid counselling.
  • Outbound Calls: Make outbound calls to prospective candidates using provided contact lists, databases, or lead generation tools.
  • Candidate Engagement: Engage with prospects in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner, building rapport and trust through effective communication.
  • Information Provision: Provide accurate and detailed information about courses, fees, facilities, and benefits in response to inquiries from prospects.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule appointments, meetings, or campus tour with interested prospects.
  • Follow-up Calls: Follow up on previous interactions, inquiries, or leads to nurture relationships, address concerns, and facilitate the admission process.
  • Data Entry: Record and maintain call logs, lead information, contact details, and other relevant data accurately in the CRM system or database.
  • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed daily, weekly, or monthly sales targets, quotas, or conversion metrics set by the University.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Any Bachelor's or master's degree but preferably in English, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in the language(s) required for the job (e.g., English, regional languages).
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Time management skills, punctuality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ethical conduct, adherence to University policies and guidelines, and data privacy.
  • Customer-focused attitude, empathy, patience, and active listening skills to understand and address candidate needs.
  • Persuasive and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence customer decisions and overcome objections.

Salary: Rs 1,80,000 to Rs 2,40,000
